Metro Hospital in Noida was started in 1997 by Dr. Purshotam Lal, a highly respected doctor in the medical field. He is known as the first Interventional Cardiologist in India and has received many top honours, including the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and the Dr. B C Roy National Award.
